You know when a boutique is coming...

My kitchen currently looks like a tornado hit!

My wonderful husband is so kind to not care when I take up every space of the house with my felt, elastic ribbon and hot glue.

Maybe he cares a little bit...it's quite disastrous!

Oh yeah and it's supposed to rain this weekend.  REALLY hoping that is not the case, because the event it outside.  

We shall see :) 

Off to making some  more headbands!

I want this to be my motto everyday when I wake up. 

We are all capable of doing some pretty amazing things and honestly some days, I'm not feeling it.

BUT, my goal is to truly make each day great and hopefully be able to make someone elses day just as great!

I have many joys, been when it comes down to it family and friends are my JOY

This is a little old, but most of the family except we are missing sweet Emrie, My brothers wife Melanie and their kids and sister's husband Justin :)

My amazing dad....did I tell you he is a pastor? Yep, it's true! I am a pastors kid :)

LOVE them...so does Emrie :) (she was in my belly then)

This woman is my best friend and my mom...she is amazing

Went to the casino and won about $10...we are high rollers

These children deserve a post for themselves, but I consider them not only my friends, but my family.  I am in love with the children of India and if I could take them all home to live with me I would.  

They are my true JOY

They bless me more than I think I have ever blessed them or ever could

We promised them someday we will be back...and we will.  But oh how I long for it to be sooner than later.  

I miss my family from India and I think Emrie will really love them too! :)

Time

Lately, Grant and I have been talking about our time

Do we use it wisely?

We decided that at night instead of just making dinner and then sitting in front of the TV and taking Emrie on the same boring walk every night, we are going to start being creative and start using our time better

I want Emrie to have fun memories and just because at night we are tired, it is a time that our little family is all together

Tonight was the first of many nights where instead of watching TV we decided to listen to music

After dinner, we went to a fun park for our walk where there were ducks, a lake, football practice and basketball players

Oh yeah and some hop scotch :)

It was so fun to do something different

I could get used to thinking outside of the box and creating sweet memories with my little family of 3!
