Fall is my absolute favorite time of year! This year I am so glad that Emrie gets to experience all the fun (even though she won't remember any of it).  The weather is finally getting cool and the festivites have begun! Happy Monday!

A little more.

Met my husband when I was 18 and knew I wanted to marry him! He didn't know that yet :) He is 7 years older. 2 years later we were married....

Last year we went to India with Medical Mercy and fell in love with the sweet kids!

Got back from India and 2 months later found out we were pregnant!

Had a gender reveal party and found out it was a girl!!!

Bump started growing :)

March 26th, our sweet Emrie was born! This is a post for another day, but it was one of the most sweet days and scariest days of our lives.  After bringing this life into the world, I almost lost mine.  It has changed who I am and brought me closer to our graceful Jesus!

Now Emrie is 6 months! Where has time gone?

There is a lot more in between, but this is a little glimpse of our little family over the past year :)

What's in a name?

Hello!

Wow, I have been talking about doing this forever and FINALLY have done it :) Thank you to the wonderful Jamie (who is also my lovely pen pal) who pushed me along and was a huge help ;)

Well, The Pink Ruffle? Where did that name come from? Silly, but I figure we should start with that.  I was thinking about starting an etsy shop with all the headbands I make, but for the life of me could not decide on a name.  My friend Katie and I talked about a million names and either they just didn't seem to fit or they were already taken.  So, I was in Emrie's room changing her diaper or something one day and looked at her window and there they were...her pink ruffled curtains :) Random I know, but it all seemed to click and The Pink Ruffle was created!  

I am excited to share this blog journey with everyone! I am so encouraged by all the blogs I read so thought I would jump on the bandwagon :)
