This weekend was busy, eventful and a weekend of learning something amazing...
Friday:
Dinner with my hubby, sweet baby girl and my dad
Made some of these felt bow clips for the boutique
Made the finishing touches on all headbands for Saturday
Made the finishing touches on all headbands for Saturday
Saturday:
Boutique! AND it didn't rain :) It was so fun to meet other vendors and to share my joy in handmade things with others
This is where that learning something amazing comes in...
The topic was on serving. I have such a heart to serve and the way our pastor put everything was so amazing. Here are some key points:
1. You are never more mature then when you give and serve
2. If you have a pulse, you have a purpose
3. Serving= love in ACTION
4. It's not about worthiness, it's about willingness
5. You CANNOT love without serving

After church we came back to our house and all had pizza and watched football. I love fellowship and times of just being together.
Sunday:
Woke up early because Emrie decided that she doesn't really like sleeping in too much anymore and let Grant sleep in (I am trying to work on this serving thing :))
Went to Starbucks for the oh so wonderful salted caramel hot chocolate
And then the rest of the day I made more headbands!
I always find joy in making headbands for people, but this order was extra special because I was making them for the wonderful Casey Wiegand!
They will be sold in "A little Artsy."
If you haven't been over to her blog, go now! She is great!
So that was my weekend...quite busy but so enjoyable!
I hope you all had a refreshing and relaxing weekend! It is another week and "if you have a pulse, you have a purpose," so let's serve one another :)

Love it! I love it! If you have a pulse, you have a purpose. It is so true. And you do have such a servants heart.
Your booth looks SOOOO cute! Can you teach me how to make that hair bow holder? It's so cute!! I tried making a hair bow today, not as cute as yours and I burnt my hand a couple of times with the glue gun. Don't know how you do it!

I'm not the smartest cookie in the bag, not the prettiest picture on the wall, but I have a HEART to serve and that's all that matters to me! God has given me that special gift and I am so thankful for it.
Now I have found a new reason why I like you so much!! So glad you were blessed at the Sat night service!
