Time is a trainer.

"I AM ABLE to do far beyond all that you ask or imagine. Come to Me with positive expectations, knowing that there is no limit to what I can accomplish. Ask My Spirit to control your mind, so that you can think great thoughts of Me. Do not be discouraged by the fact that many of your prayers are yet unanswered. Time is a trainer, teaching you to wait upon Me, to trust Me in the dark. The more extreme your circumstances, the more likely you are to see My Power and Glory at work in the situation. Instead of letting difficulties draw you into worrying, try to view them as setting the scene for My glorious intervention. Keep your eyes and your mind wide open to all that I am doing in your life."

Ephesian 3:20; Romans 8:6: Isaiah 40:30; Revelation 5:13
-Jesus Calling by Sarah Young

My hope and dream is to be a a stay at home mom for this little girl
Financially, it is just not in the picture to do that right now.  My heart aches every day on my way to work and I pray everyday that somehow I would be able to be at home with her.

I am so thankful for my parents who take great care of her

The other night while reading this devotional, it all made sense.  I can't be discouraged and need to know that God's timing is perfect.

"Time is a trainer, teaching you to wait upon Me, to trust Me in the dark."

I need to be reminded of this more often than not.

Amen! We need to remember this in so many aspects. I catch myself trying to make things happen in my time and guess what, it doesn't work that way :o) Good luck to you and I'll say a little prayer. I've been very blessed to be home with all three of my babies. You are blessed with an absolutely beautiful baby!

That is SO true! I totally understand that feeling. Especially when I was working with each of the girls. It is so hard. But we can't fully know God's plan. When we are in the midst of the hardship things just don't make sense. But we just have to trust Him. Love ya!

I love this. I am so impatient. I wish I too could remember that everything is in God's timing and I can't do anything about that. You are so blessed to have parents close enough to be with your sweet baby girl :) My parents live in WI and we're here in WA, it makes me so sad for when we have kids. So that is definitely a bright side for you. Have a good day :)

Ashley! You are a great mom. As a working mom, I know it is hard, and some days are harder than others. Sometimes at work my heart aches to hold Lila and Will. Though I can't tell you how to make being away from your baby less painful, I can encourage you to trust in God...He has a plan for you! We don't often understand why things are the way they are until we can look back on what we have gone through.

I know (knew) how you feel and I also have seen the work of God's perfect timing. You are lucky that you have family that can watch your child. I wasn't able to stay home with my first who is 9 yrs old now, but I was lucky that I had family that was able to watch her. As of recently I am a stay at home mom as I now have an 8th month old. If staying at home is what you want, than start working towards it. If there's a will, there's a way. ;)
